INNERVISION Band Members

We would like to introduce you to the band members of Innervision. The band consists of one of two vocalists and a fairly standard set up of bass guitarist, drummer, lead guitaring and keyboard player who have all worked very well together over the years. Having two vocalist gives us the added security of knowing we will always have a vocalist available to sing at your function regardless of any illness such as a throat infection that can all too often result in other bands having to cancel a booking. We have all committed ourselves to work and play in just this one band, in fact most of the present band members have been playing together for well over ten years. This commitment to Innervision has given us the ability to play and practice regularly, whilst working together over this time has lead to a very good rapport with each other when playing live, producing a very tight performance at your function.

Being equal partners in Innervision has also allowed us to contribute and fund the £40,000 worth of top quality equipment that we will use at your function. Below you will find a brief description of what part each of us plays in the band, and an idea of the instruments and equipment we all use.

The real success of Innervision ultimately lies with the attitude, skill and reliability of the individual musicians and the band as a whole, not only in how we work and play together live, but also how well we come across to you the client.

Stacey Mogg, Stephanie Murray      Lead Vocals

Stacey and Stephanie are both very talented and experienced vocalists, with similar training and experience with powerful and versatile voices. This allows either singers to cover a wide range of songs by a diverse set of artists. These include the mellow tones and gentle pace of Leona Lewis‘s (Snowpatrol's) “Run " through slick pop sounds including Duffy's "Mercy" to belting out the powerful and raucous pop rock vocals of Tina Turner's "Nutbush City Limits". Both Stacey and Stephanie have outgoing and friendly attitudes and are equally good at building a rapport with the audience helping to create a great party atmosphere at your function. Either singer will certainly have your guests up dancing throughout the evening and possibly singing a chorus or two before the end of the night!

Stacey and Stephanie use a Sennheiser radio microphone, a Digitech vocal harmoniser effects unit and Mackie SRM450 floor monitor.

Pete Leyland       Bass Guitar

Pete has been playing bass ever since getting his first teenage band together during School days. He will happily admit to his style being influenced by many of the great bass players that have appeared over the past 40 years. Chris Squire of Yes fame, Marcus Miller on the jazz funk scene, and many other great players along with his all time hero Mark King the virtuoso slap bass player of pop funk outfit Level 42 .You may even get a glimpse of Pete using this technique on a couple of the songs during the live sets.

Pete uses: Ibanez bass guitar and a Boss GT6B bass effects unit.

Andy Brockway       Keyboards

Andy Andy has now been a fully fledged member of the band for well over a year and has proved to be a great asset with his very natural ability on the piano and in-depth knowledge of the Roland Fantom X7 synth. Since joining Innervision he has proved very successful at playing the complex multi-keyboard parts found in the wide range of chart songs the band plays, and has an infectious enthusiasm for playing live music.

Andy uses: Roland Fantom X7 keyboard and a Roland A90 electric piano.

Trevor Webb       Roland Pro V-Drums

Trevor has been playing drums in one band or another ever since buying a second hand kit with his first ever pay cheque! Having worked his way through some early rock bands, a couple of new romantic and pop rock outfits in the 80's and 90's he now really enjoys playing the dance oriented chart material required to keep an INNERVISION audience on it's feet. This has involved mastering some of the very latest Roland V Drum technology to produce a solid drum sound and together with Pete's bass playing create a powerful rhythm section for the band that will keep your guests up dancing .

Trevor uses: Roland's latest flagship V-Drum Kit, the TD20 and Shure E530 in-earphones.

Dave Walker        Lead and Rhythm Guitar, Guitar Synthesiser and Backing Vocals

Dave not only plays guitar and sings backing vocals but he is also the technical expert behind the array of sound and lighting equipment the band use. It's no surprise then to hear that Dave's own equipment allows him to play anything on his guitar from a gentle acoustic sound to a screaming lead guitar solo and everything in between and it doesn't end there. Add onto this a whole array of sampled pianos, saxophone's, brass and synthesiser sounds accessed from a Roland synth module and you have a guitar sound second to none. At times it's difficult to work out which instrument is playing what sound!

Dave uses: Vigier, Aria and Ibenez guitars, Roland VG99 and Roland VG8 guitar effects processors and a Roland GR33 guitar synthesiser.
